When you are in America or dying of cancer, you watch a lot of TV. As such, the summer of 2020 brought interesting viewing. The air, pregnant with a disease called Racism, served as a conduit through which violence spread across G-d’s second favorite nation (kidding). Unarmed black men were being gunned down by police at a rate of 19 per 41 million, while Asian people were being attacked by a 404 error we are still looking into. Goofy things happened and goofy things persisted. Here and there a pallet of bricks showed up alongside the cobbled walks of cosmopolitan City Centres, an errant SoulCycle or Lululemon disrupting certain bricks’ freedom of movement across an orgy of masonry.
